Signing Story Time at Mission Hills Library
| Description: | (This Signing Story Time is scheduled weekly on Mondays at 1:30pm) Find out what’s going on in your baby’s mind by teaching them to sign. Strengthen your bond with baby and lessen frustration brought on because of miscommunication by giving them a way to tell you what they’re thinking. This signing story time with Jennifer Duncan uses the excitement and fun of signing with American Sign Language (ASL) to enhance the reading of well-loved children’s picture books. This interactive 45-minute presentation includes sing-a-longs and bubble time followed by a question and answer period. Attending this signing story time is a great way to learn more about baby sign language, meet other families also interested in signing, as well as supplement your learning from baby sign language classes.
